How do you explain the facts of life to a 14 year old boy?

I am a 43 year old woman raising my 14 year old son by myself and need help in what kind of things I should be preparing him for when it comes to his hormones. What should I be advising him about. My son is very well brought up. Not to brag but he has a good logical mind and I just want him to know I understand where he is in life. Its hard because I don’t feel comfortable talking to him about sex and I know he doesn’t either. I don’t want to miss telling him about life. Especially when I know he is at the beginning stages of showing interest toward girls. If there is a man out there that can give me some pointers I would apreciate a mans side of this.

well im not a man i am a mother of 6 kids 4 Boys and 2 girls , at the age of 14 u should of already told him about the facts of life when he was like 11 years old , boys as well as girls are developing at earlier ages now days , u need to be honest with him if he has a good mind etc like u had said he did then he can hadle it , just be up front with him tell him hes getting at the age or is at the age in his life where he will have feelings for girls and thus is normal , things will happen with his body as well like pubic hairs , underarm hair , voice changing , all theses are normal things tha happen to boys as they turn into young men , let him know that that he will experence a hard on now and then and that he may see fluids come from his penis let him know that all this is normal and that everyboy goes through it at some time in there life some sooner than others but they all do it , let him know that sexual feeling are normal as well and if he acts on those feelings that he should use a condom , and that he should not go bragging to his friends that he banged this one or tht one . in my opinion 14 is a little late but its better late thn never so go ahead have that talk with him be honest with him tell him what u know and what u have experenced with males or with his father etc , just cause u r mom dont mean u cant tell him everything , u may also want to let him know about girls and menestration as well and let him know thts normal for a girl as well. tell him what u no and be honst with him and ask him if he has any questions etc . and please like i said tell him if he get the urge and decides to go all the way with a gal to make sure he puts on a condom
